Inspecting plastic thickness is a complex process, one which SolveTech has worked hard to make easy for the plastics manufacturer. Some of our pivotal plastic thickness inspection tools include:
- Precision Profiler: the Precision Profiler, or PR2000, was designed to bring critical feedback and precise measurement data for material samples in the lab, using point-to-point measurements. The PR2000 provides detailed data on cross-web and machine-direction thickness variability.
- Single-Channel Gauging System: The FX2100 provides thickness data on non-conductive materials, ideally for narrow web and thin materials. The FX2100 echoes SolveTech’s oldest gauging technology, while ensuring high speed measurements at high resolutions.
- MultiChannel Array Gauge: The multichannel gauge provides similar data as the FX2100, with the use of two measurement heads at once on materials up to 60 inches wide. You can easily achieve 100% coverage at high accuracy with the multichannel gauge.
